A Step in the Right Direction provides tailored 1:1 coaching support to help a participant make a change and reconnect with opportunities in their locality, perhaps following a period in which a person may have been needing to take time out and recover, or may have been feeling very withdrawn or anxious. An integral part of the project involves supporting a person to manage challenging thoughts and feelings as an integral part of moving forward, informed by a participant’s unique value base. The project hopes to support participants to develop increased levels of courage, self-confidence and fulfilment as they begin to move forward again.
