We provide a range of counselling services to people living in Louth and surrounding villages.
We offer a number of different types of counselling and psychotherapy, including Person-Centred Counselling, Relational and Psychotherapeutic approaches, Psychodynamic, Humanistic-Integrative (incorporating Solution-Focused, CBT, Transactional Analysis and creative techniques as appropriate) as well as Couples Counselling. We also offer trauma recovery work, where appropriate.
Most of our services are free to use thanks to the support of our funders and commissioners. Our counsellors work within the ISPC and BACP Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions and are members of the ISPC or BACP
Counselling is typically short-term i.e. an initial assessment appointment followed by six counselling sessions
We also offer a chargeable counselling service options which offers clients greater choice, compared to our free-to-access services
Sessions are normally held at the same time each week and last between 50 and 60 minutes
