 Salary £18252.80 – PT (30 hrs)

Shine Lincolnshire working in partnership with Lincolnshire Partnership Foundation Trust (LPFT) are looking to recruit a part time (30hrs) Peer Support Worker.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has their own lived experiences of poor mental health and wellbeing. The ideal candidate will be able to share the wisdom they have gained from their own personal journey to inspire hope and belief that recovery is possible in others. The Peer Support Worker will provide formalised peer support and practical assistance to clients enabling them to regain control over their health, to lead meaningful lives and to develop their own unique recovery process.

The roles will be working within the local Integrated Place Based Teams (IPBT).

(An Integrated Place Based Team is a team that sits at the heart of the community and is made up of multiple professionals all working together to support individuals to live the best quality of life possible. They work together to promote self-efficiency through a person-centred approach and also to bridge the gap between voluntary, health and social care.)

Role Base: PE9 1UN

Please note applicants will need to be able to travel independently across their PCN area.

The post holder will be required to undertake mandatory training and will be issued an honorary contract with LPFT. Full support will be provided by both Shine Lincolnshire & LPFT.

An enhanced DBS will be required.
