Provide Community CIC have grants available to support charitable organisations working to enhance health and wellbeing in local communities. Grants of up to £30,000 are available, although only two grants are awarded. Examples of eligible initiatives include exercise classes for older adults, mental health support groups, outdoor activity programmes, health awareness of your people or digital literacy training for older people. The NFU Mutal Charitable Trust have grants from £1,000 to £50,000 for initiatives that support charities working in agriculture and rural development. GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) in partnership with the Kings Fund is offering core funding and training for health charities across the UK. There are two programmes available (ranging from £4,000 to £50,000). Projects previously funded include mental health support, sexual health services, support for chronic conditions and health inequality reduction. Closing date is 11st August and 20th August depending on the programme, and can find more information here.
The 1001 Critical Days Foundation is currently offering grants of up to £100,000 per year to charities that support work with babies during the first 1001 days of life. This could include (but not limited to) supporting during pregnancy, parenting programmes or perinatal mental health support. Closing date is midnight on Sunday 27th July and can find out more here.
Lincolnshire County Council is calling on local businesses and community groups to apply for new Skills Champion grants to support essential skills development across the county. Successful applicants will receive a £1,000 grant, funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, towards flexible and creative ways of boosting literacy, numeracy and digital skills development. Organisations can apply for up to four Champions across any combination of the three skill areas: literacy, numeracy or digital.
