LCF Funding Flash – Michael Cornish Core Grants Programme! Grants of up to £10,000 are available to charitable organisations (e.g. registered charities, constituted community groups & social enterprises) who support: Young people (with a focus on care leavers) to engage in activities/opportunities that will lead them to have better life chances; families on low income, in disadvantaged areas or those excluded due to isolation (in all its forms) so they can have better more fulfilled lives; those who are homeless with projects that help individuals access food, advice and support; ex-offenders by delivering preventative measures and/or activities that reduce re-offending rates; victims of domestic abuse or sexual violence through preventative projects or opportunities to enable engagement opportunities between survivors; projects that address the causes of poverty, rather than the symptoms; organisations which bring communities together, reducing social isolation and improving mental health in individuals. Lincolnshire Community Foundation has opened the next round of applications for the UK Shared Prosperity Fund GRASSroots Grant, delivered in partnership with the South and East Lincolnshire Councils Partnership. It is aimed at projects that improve community facilities and infrastructure, encourage social and cultural engagement to strengthen community cohesion, and build resilience and support the regeneration of local initiatives. Applications are invited from not-for-profit community groups, registered charities, social enterprises, and town and parish councils. Grants of up to £24,999 are available in the Boston Borough and East Lindsey District Council areas, and up to £10,000 in South Holland District. The deadline for applications is 21st September 2025. Funding to Support Refugees and Asylum Seekers (UK) Grants of up to £5,000 are currently available for projects that support Refugees and Asylum Seekers. To be eligible, a project must focus exclusively on refugees and/or asylum seekers as its beneficiaries, without extending services to other groups. Funding is available for revenue costs (e.g. materials, activities) directly linked to the project. Salaries are not funded unless the staff member is employed explicitly for the project in question. The funding is being made available through the Austin and Hope Pilkington Trust’s “Refugees and Asylum Seekers” grant. Eligible applicants are UK-registered charities or exempt organisations with a minimum operating income and expenditure of £1,000,000 per annum. The Trust does not fund other types of non-profit organisations, social enterprises, or community foundations. The closing date for applications is the 30th September 2025.
