Community Café Assistant

Location: Boston (dual sites)
Hours: 37.5hrs
Salary: Dependant on experience
Contract: Permanent

We are looking for friendly, reliable, and community-minded Community Café Assistants to support the day to day running of Shine Lincolnshire’s community cafés.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, has an interest in mental health and wellbeing, and wants to be part of a café that makes a positive social impact.

About the Role

Working under the guidance of the Community Café Manager, you will help prepare and serve food and drinks, provide excellent customer service, and support volunteers and work placement participants in a welcoming and inclusive environment.

We’re Looking for Someone Who:

·        Has experience in a café, restaurant, or customer service role (helpful but not essential)

·        Is friendly, approachable, and a good team player

·        Cares about inclusion, wellbeing, and community connection

·        Is willing to learn and support others

·        Has a flexible approach to working hours
