  • Grants of up to £1,500 for the Professional Development of Hospice and Palliative Care Staff. Hospice staff across the UK can apply for new professional development funding through three bursary schemes managed by Hospice UK. Backed by the Masonic Charitable Foundation, the National Garden Scheme, and the Wolfson Foundation, the programmes aim to strengthen end-of-life care skills across the sector. Eligible hospice employees—including nurses, healthcare assistants, pharmacists, and counsellors—can receive up to half of course fees, capped at £1,500 annually. Funding can support clinical, teaching, or research training, as well as courses in dementia and spiritual care. Costs such as travel and accommodation are eligible, and both online and in-person learning are covered. Applications are accepted year-round via Hospice UK’s online portal. No deadline stated.
  • New Fund to Boost Digital Inclusion and Employment for Blind and Vision-Impaired People. Organisations supporting blind and vision-impaired people can now apply for grants of up to £30,000 to tackle digital barriers to employment. The fund prioritises projects that use technology to prepare vision-impaired individuals for work, support job applications, aid job retention and progression, and create pathways into tech careers. Eligible applicants include UK-registered charities, CIOs, charitable companies, CICs limited by guarantee, and exempt charities such as universities. The funding is being made available by the charity Fight for Sight through its new Digital Inclusion Fund. Deadline 6 January 2026 at midday; decisions will be announced the week of 16 February 2026.
  • Funding to Support Frontline Services for Babies & New Parents. Multi-year funding is available for charities delivering frontline services that improve outcomes for babies during their first 1001 critical days – from pregnancy to age two. The funding is provided by the 1001 Foundation, which aims to bring about meaningful change in the way services are delivered, and support parents and carers to give their baby the best start in life. Organisations can apply for up to £100,000 per year for up to five years to deliver services in community-based family hubs and other “one-stop shop” settings. Projects could include infant feeding support, parenting programmes, perinatal mental health services, and help for dads or marginalised communities. Most awards are expected to range from £20,000 to £80,000 per year. Deadline 5 pm 19th December 2025.
  • Grants of up to £100,000 are Available to Debt Advice Services. Applications are now open for the Debt Advice Transformation Fund 2025/26. The fund has a total of £750,000 available to help larger debt advice organisations and membership bodies in England drive innovation and improvement across the sector. Grants of £25,000–£100,000 are available to support research, new service delivery models, and collaborative solutions that boost sector-wide accessibility, sustainability, and effectiveness. Proposals can be submitted by individual organisations or partnerships. Deadline is noon on 14 November 2025, with project delivery required by March 2026. The funding is being made available by the Money and Pensions Service.
  • Music Grants for Older People. Charitable organisations and care homes for the elderly can apply for grants of up to £250 for activities which provide musical entertainment and related activities for the elderly. Some of the charities that have received grants in the past include the Theatre Chipping Norton to help fund high-calibre music recitals in six Care Homes in the area and Sue Ryder Care, Lancashire, to fund access to music therapy workshops at Birchley Hall near Wigan and St Helen’s. The grants are made available through the charity Concertina. Deadline, 30 April 2026.
  • Grant to support families in need.  The Family Action’s Welfare Grants Programme aims to alleviate financial hardship by providing small but vital grants for essential personal and household items, enabling individuals and families to maintain their basic living standards and independence. All applicants must fall into one or more of the following priority areas: Mental Health, Domestic Abuse, and Older People. Eligible applicants must be referred by recognised agencies such as charities, housing associations, or social services. Grants typically range from £200 to £300 and can cover household goods such as cookers, washing machines, fridge-freezers, beds, and bedding. Full eligibility criteria and application guidance are available on the charity’s website. No application deadline.
