External Funding Opportunities October 2025

  • There’s a new Connect to Work programme being rolled out across the country, offering support to people with multiple and complex barriers to working, to find and sustain employment. Lincolnshire County Council is leading the programme for Greater Lincolnshire and confirms that procurement for a network of delivery partners is now open. Please take a look at the Introduction to the Procurement to find out how your organisation can apply to help deliver better access to employment options for Lincolnshire residents. The deadline for queries has now passed, but proposals can be submitted until 6 October via the Portal.
  • Festive Grants Up to £750 Available for Groups Supporting Older People in Need.  Small charities and constituted community groups can apply for grants up to £750 for festive activities that create social connections for people aged 65+. They prioritise communities with the highest levels of income deprivation and loneliness among older people. The type of activities that could be supported include community festive meals, outings, befriending activities, and the delivery of Christmas care packages, etc. The funding is being made available through the McCarthy Stone Foundation, Festive Connections Grants Programme 2025. Deadline is 5 pm on 3 October 2025.
  • LCC Family Hubs Capital Grant funding for community groups who support families and children to enhance their current offer for children up to the age of 2 years and improve the experience for children and their families. You can find further information in the following links.  Information for ApplicantsAccompanying Letter Application form.   • Funding for Projects that Raise People’s Quality of Life is available to charities, specialist schools, CIOs, and other not-for-profit organisations. The Bernard Sunley Foundation aims to provide opportunities for the young, elderly, disabled, and disadvantaged with capital projects in the areas of community, education, health, and social welfare. Previous projects include improvements to village halls, hospices, and treatment clinics, supporting children and adults with SEN, and supporting day centres for the elderly. There are three levels of grants: large, £25,000 and above; medium, up to £20,000; and small grants up to £5,000. Applications can be made at any time.
  • Funding to Support Migrant Justice. The Paul Hamlyn Foundation is making grants of up to £60,000 per year (over 3 to 5 years) available to support not-for-profit organisations working towards migrant justice. The Migration Fund aims to support organisations to build on their services to strengthen relationships with migrants and diaspora communities and help them plan for positive change. The Foundation considers applications for core funding and funding dedicated to specific programmes and partnerships. Potential applicants need to contact the Foundation to discuss ideas before submitting applications related to this focus area. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.
  • The Schroder Charity Trust to Re-Open Grants Programme. The Schroder Charity Trust will accept applications from 1st October 2025. They will fund initiatives that enable children and young adults from disadvantaged backgrounds to thrive in education and employment. It also supports projects that strengthen communities through services and opportunities to improve the lives of vulnerable and disadvantaged people. Grants of up to £5,000 are typically awarded, and funding may be used towards either core or project costs. Applications are accepted from UK-registered charities with an annual income between £150,000 and £1 million. Deadline 30th November 2025.
