Shine Together

Shine Together is a community resilience and infrastructure support programme delivered in partnership with the South & East Lincolnshire Councils Partnership. The programme was established to strengthen the voluntary, community, and grassroots sector by providing practical support, organisational development, and capacity-building opportunities to groups operating across Lincolnshire.

The project supports organisations across rural, coastal, and urban communities to improve sustainability, governance, partnership working, volunteer development, and community engagement. Support delivered through the programme includes one-to-one guidance, funding and bid development support, policy and safeguarding advice, networking opportunities, and assistance with developing community-led activities that respond to identified local need.

Shine Together has also focused on supporting organisations to navigate increasing sector pressures, including rising demand, financial uncertainty, workforce and volunteer capacity challenges, social isolation, and widening health inequalities. Through collaborative working and targeted support, the programme aims to strengthen local infrastructure, improve resilience within the voluntary and community sector, and increase the ability of organisations to deliver preventative, community-based support.

A key principle of Shine Together is enabling communities and organisations to identify and develop locally led solutions, helping to create stronger partnerships, improve community connectivity, and support longer-term resilience across Lincolnshire.
