Hi, I’m Olivia and I am one of the Peer Support Workers for South Lincs and Rural.

I joined Shine back in May 2023, just after I finished my degree in Sociology. In my degree I often wrote about the barriers people faced when trying to overcome mental health difficulties and have been lucky enough to put my academic work into practice.

My main role will be walking along side individuals with mental health challenges and to introduce them to new groups within their area in which they have an interest in. I am also able to use my own experiences of mental health challenges to empower others, let them be heard and to show that change is possible.
